Today we leave for city tour of Manali - visiting the Hadimba Devi temple set within dense Pine forest and to the Naggar Castle to have the stunning view of the valley.

DAY 08 : MANALI - KEYLONG ( BY SURFACE 115 KMS 4 HRS DRIVE )
We continue our Drive Towards Keylong - Situated at an altitude of 3350 meters ., Keylong is the head quarters of Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh lying on Indo-Tibetan Border. The region is strange, exciting, primitive mountainous and delightful. "Rudyard Kipling" said of therein "Surely the God live here this no place for men." The route of Lahaul takes a traveler over Rohtang Pass (3980m above the sea level), Koksar (1sr village of Lahaul) Sissu, Gindla and Tandi crossing the river Chanderbagha . DAY 09 : KEYLONG- SARCHU ( BY SURFACE 120 KMS 5 HRS DRIVE )
Morning after breakfast drive to Sarchu (4253 M) via Baralachala (4892 M). Sarchu is inhabited by Himalayan Clan Gaddi and few lonely soldiers at an army outpost. It is also the actual border between Lahaul and Zanskar. Upon arrival check in at Tents. Overnight at Tents .
DAY 10 : SARCHU LEH ( BY SURFACE 235 KMS 8 HRS DRIVE )
Morning after breakfast drive to Leh (3500 M) via Lachulangla (5065 M) and Tanglangla (5360 M) - the second highest pass in the world with metalled road. Leh is the capital of Ladakh and is situated on the bank of the river Indus. Upon arrival check into hotel . Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 11 : LEH
Morning Proceed for the sightseeing of Phyang, Spituk and Sankar . Overnight at Hotel
DAY 12 : LEH – LIKIR ( TREK STARTING )
Morning after breakfast start your first day's trek TO YANGTHANGA ( 04-05 HRS ) .Overnight at Tents.
DAY 13 : YANGTHANGA – ANG VIA HEMIS SHUKPACHAN ( 04-05 HRS TREK ) .
OVERNIGHT AT TENTS.
DAY 14 : ANG – SIKINDIYANG ( 06- 07 HRS TREK )
DAY 15 : SIKINDIYANG – KHALTSI ( 04 -05 HRS TREK ) Today we will Finish the Trek .

DAY 16 : KHALTSI – ALCHI ( BY SURFACE 3 HRS DRIVE )
Morning After Breakfast Proceed to Alchi's large temple complex founded in the 11th century is regarded as one of the most important Buddhist centres in Ladakh and a jewel of monastic skill. You will also have an opportunity to witness villagers using primitive methods to grind the wheat along the road side. Upon arrival check in at Hotel . Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 17 : ALCHI – LEH ( BY SURFACE 75 KMS 3 HRS DRIVE )
Morning After Breakfast proceed to Leh . Upon arrival check in at Hotel . Rest for the day free for Personal activities .
DAY 18 : LEH
After breakfast, we visit the Hemis monastry, the biggest and the wealthiest in Ladakh. visit the museum in which the family's heirlooms and relics are displayed, a poignant evocation of Ladakh's vanished past as an independent kingdom. Ladakh well known as SOS Village. We visit the Tibetan Handicraft Centre / Tibetan school You walk past the Chortens and the Main walls to enter the complex through the east gate. From Hemis, you are driven westwards to Thiksey monastry, located on a hilltop with formidable views of the Indus valley. After visiting the interiors of the monestry the tour continues to Shey the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. Finally we drive back to Leh to our hotel. Overnight at Hotel .
DAY 19 : LEH – DELHI ( BY FLIGHT )
Morning After breakfast Transfer to Airport to Board flight For Delhi . Upon arrival Transfer to your Pre -booked Hotel . Evening we will go to a typical Indian Restaurant for a Farewell Dinner . Overnight at Hotel .
DAY 20 : LEAVE DELHI
Transfer to Airport to Board flight for Onward Journey . |
